The power of a DRAGONFLY!

I am a crafter from way back from pudding finger paint to hosting mini-scrapbooking sleepovers with four pre-teen girls. However I got the ”bug” (which is now defined as an addiction) a few years ago when a friend of mine showed me her latest creation – a mini album made from paper lunch bags – I was hooked and had to make one asap!

In discussing where to source supplies, she advised me to go to this little shop on Erin Street (now located on Portage Avenue).  “What makes this shop so special?” I asked.  Well a friend of my friend needed a DRAGONFLY. She found a package of them but only needed one. Chatting with the owner, the customer explained that she was not a scrapper, in fact this was a one and only project. The owner opened the package, handed her the dragonfly and told her to have a good day.Needless to say the customer was thrilled, she just saved herself some money and did not have to store or peddle the remaining 14 dragonflies.

After hearing the story, I checked out the website, attended a class with the extraordinary owner of Scrapbookers Anonymous, Marilyn and her ever faithful side, Carole. Now not only was I addicted to scrapping I was hooked on the store!

The DRAGONFLY story is still shared especially with those that are new to scrapping and looking for a GREAT store to feed a possible new addiction.

My addiction has evolved from paperbag albums to various mini-albums and cards. I love paper, embellishments, paper, learning new techniques, paper, 6x6 cards, paper, my scraproom, and of course, paper.:)

I believe in the power of dragonflies.
